Jacqueline Gudis

Jacqueline was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She received her Bachelor’s degree from CSUN, majoring in Communication Disorders and Sciences. For her Master’s degree, Jacqueline attended CSULA and graduated Speech and Language Pathology.

Jacqueline has been practicing her speech and language skills for the past 9 years. For the first 3 years of her career, Jacqueline worked in acute rehab in the hospitals before transitioning to the schools in Los Angeles. She also worked at clinics and did early intervention homecare in her spare time. Jacqueline decided to further her experiences in life and career and ventured to NYC. Her journey started at charter schools until she fell in love with the DOE schools and curriculum. She joined the New York City Department of Education in September 2016 where she began working as a Speech Therapist/Teacher at two elementary schools. Jacqueline is very passionate about working with students to help them excel in their goals. In addition, Jacqueline also provides early intervention treatment for children ages 13 months of age to 3 years of age in Manhattan.

In her personal time, Jacqueline enjoys working out by taking a variety of classes such as boxing, spinning and hot yoga. She loves to explore NYC and all it has to offer, especially their restaurants (she is a big foodie). She is very social and enjoys meeting new people and venturing out to new adventures in our beautiful state. Jacqueline will continue her work at PS 527 this fall and is excited to be a part of the PS 527 school community and looks forward to working with our students and parents as well as working as a team with our teachers. Her goal is to provide the most progress and support for our students.
