Direct appeal
The annual appeal is the most direct way to support PS 527 and in this unprecedented school year will be the best way to show your monetary support for the school. 100% of your gift funds initiatives that make our school such a unique and enriching place, and will help maintain the level of excellence we strive for whether children are educated in-person or remotely. Your donation is tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
Annual Benefit
The Annual Benefit has historically been our school's biggest social and fundraising event of the year! All funds raised from the event directly benefit our children by building an enriching school environment - including technology, art, music, science, nutrition, teaching assistance and so much more.
PADDLE RAISE
The Paddle Raise is a special appeal for a specific and long-standing need, which takes place during the Annual Benefit. In the past it has fully funded initiatives such as The Harry Gandel Library and Technology Hub and Air Conditioning for the Gymatorium and Cafeteria.

MATCHING GIFTS
Many companies and organizations will match charitable contributions made by their employees and employee spouses. It's an easy way to double, or even triple, your donation. Please check with your employer to see if they offer matching gift programs. Often, companies will match employee gifts up to one year after the date of donation.
